The center princess-cut diamond was purchased separately from Shane Co. in 1992 and was documented as: 1.11-carat princess-cut diamond — L color, SI1 clarity. The original documentation records the center diamond's purchase price at $3,215.
A subsequent Shane Co. replacement appraisal for the bridal set was completed on September 21, 2002, and valued the complete bridal set at $5,650 for replacement purposes.
